Next Steps: Making Your Contribution – A Legacy of Worship – Fellowship Church Dallas

Next Steps: Making Your Contribution

Campaign Chairman, Ed Mott, shares with us the next steps for making our contributions toward A Legacy of Worship.

The Next Steps

We are now gathering and counting the pledges that have come in from our church family, past attenders, and outside contributors.  We are also now reaching out to anyone from whom we haven’t yet received a pledge, to be sure that all of the pledge cards are received and are accounted for.

This capital campaign will continue for at least the next three years, during which time pledges and contributions will continue to be received.  The Campaign Leadership Team will continue to meet occasionally. Our plan is to keep a focus on the campaign as it progresses, keep the church updated and involved. Most importantly, we will continue to ask you to keep praying for successful completion of Phase I of the building project.  We will encourage the church to pray continuously for the leadership of the church and the many decisions that will need to be made regarding the building.

How To Contribute to A Legacy of Worship

The pledge cards that were passed out at our service on Sunday March 26 are to be completed and returned to the church. If you have not yet done so, please return yours as soon as possible.

  • If you did not receive a pledge card for A Legacy of Worship, you can pick one up at the church office during the week, or at the Welcome Center on Sunday.
  • Completed pledge cards can placed in the A Legacy of Worship envelopes and mailed to the church office, placed in the offering plate on Sundays, or in the pledge card drop off boxes, available in both buildings.
  • We will begin receiving pledges in May
The Three Year Commitment period is from May 2017- April 2020
  • Capital Campaign contributions can be mailed to the church office or placed in the offering plate.
  • When you are ready to begin making your contributions, it is very important that you place your check or cash into a sealed envelope clearly labeled “A Legacy of Worship, ” so that they are properly credited the campaign by the financial secretary. Checks must be annotated with “A Legacy of Worship” as well.
If they are not marked properly, they could be processed as general offerings. Special campaign envelopes will be available at the Welcome Center soon.
  • We are presently unable to process electronic giving for capital campaign contributions.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the capital campaign, pledge cards, giving, or the building project.  If you have any questions, please click here.

In Christ,
