We are getting closer to groundbreaking and construction! Here’s a quick summary from Pastor Karl of what we can expect at our Groundbreaking:

We will begin at 10:30 with a worship service in our current Worship Center, which will have some special themes and elements regarding A Legacy of Worship and this stage in our church’s journey and history.  Then we will be moving outside toward the end of the service, and we will gather around as an entire congregation to witness a ceremony in which shovel fulls of dirt will be turned over, signifying the beginning of the building project in that location.  We will sing together, pray together, and commemorate some of the great things God has done in our church through the years, and look ahead with faith and excitement to what He will do in the future.  

We expect to have representatives from Horst construction there at the service, who will briefly share about their excitement as a Christian-owned and operated company to be able to build our Worship Center, furthering the legacy of our congregation for years to come.  We hope to have many people visiting this special event who have been a part of our church in years past, and we also plan to key members of our community to be here to witness it as well.
