Member Profile: The Thomas Family

We have been attending Fellowship Church as a family since we returned to the area in October of 2008. Andy grew up attending Fellowship as a Bible study in my parent’s home in the early 1980’s and Lily started to attend Fellowship as a part of the youth program in her teen years. We have always considered Fellowship as our “home church” even during the years that we lived out of the area so when we moved back it was an easy decision to begin attending again.

How has Fellowship Church strengthened your relationship with the Lord and as a family?

Fellowship Church has been vital in helping us as a family to all grow in our walk with God. It is amazing to be apart of a community of believers who truly love and care for one another. Being able to help others with burdens and struggles, and knowing they are there to support us is such a comfort. We are blessed with teaching and preaching that keeps us focused on God and challenges us to live for Him.

Why do you believe in the Master Plan Vision and A Legacy of Worship Capital Campaign?

The leadership at Fellowship has been serious about this vision for a long time. Many have prayed over the direction and we are confident that God is leading the future of Fellowship Church. This Capital Campaign now allows all of us to be involved in a financially responsible way. We are praying that He will bless us in ways we never could have imagined so that we can continue to bring His message of salvation to the Back Mountain, Wyoming Valley, and to the World.
